On the Subject of Mixed Media
In my studio I generally work on one series at a time. I will become deeply invested in that subject and produce a number of drawings until I feel the series is over. On very rare occasions or in between series, that mixed media pieces turn up. They are explosive landscapes combining paint, graphite, mud, basically anything I can get my hands on. These pieces come form the recesses of my mind and I need to get them out in order to continue my work. The pieces you will see were composed in no particular order, throughout the years.
